WEEK 24: Tchau Fortaleza, Ola Itapipoca!

Baptisms of Victoria and Ana Gabrielle

Hey everyone!

Another great and very hot week here in Fortaleza. We were able to get some good work done this last week before the transfer comes to a close tomorrow.

This last Wednesday we baptized Victoria and her cousin, Ana Gabrielle. That was an amazing experience. From meeting them for the first time up until the baptism, it was quite the amazing journey. I am very grateful for the opportunity to be a missionary here, changing the lives of these people through our savior Jesus Christ. We were very happy that Victoria and Ana Gabrielle took this first great step in their lives.

I have just learned that I will be transferred tomorrow. I am going to be headed to the interior city of Itapipoca. I am excited to go and get to know more parts of this great mission and the Itapipoca Branch. I will also now be the senior companion, so a little more responsibility as well. I am excited to see how the work is going over there.

It will be sad to say goodbye to my first area after spending over 4 months here, but it really has been a great experience. I met lots of really great people, and had many great experiences. I am certain that the Lord sent me to this area for a reason, and that he knows exactly what we need to do and who we need to meet here in the mission. I am really grateful for the Guararapes Ward.

I love you all and I love this gospel. I know that it has the power to change lives.
